JUST IN: 11-Year-Old Basic 5 Pupil adjudged Best Student in Bewuanum Anglican Basic School

A Basic Five (5} Pupil of the Bewuanum Anglican Basic School has been awarded as the best Student in the Bewuanum Anglican Basic School.

Beating her seniors from the Junior High School to win the accolade , 11-year-old Sandra Arhin was adjudged best student in the school after exhibiting high level of intelligence in Spelling B and Reading competition,skills development and General Knowledge.

The event was organized by Sharing Hope Foundation, a non-profitable organisation that educate, mentor, empower and sustain the visions of our young generation.

The competition which took place on October 19,2018 saw the organizers educating the young school children on teenage pregnancy and its implications on the victims’ education.

The students were also taken through the  rights of the less privileged in many rural communities and were educated on how to stand up  to defend their rights.

As passionate representatives of change , the students  were ready to advocate on the prevention of teenage pregnancy among young boys and girls, reach out to the victims of teenage pregnancy and empower them.

They believed every young person has some peculiar potential that need to be developed as a result that, they came together as an organisation to advocate, educate, empower and sustain visions of every young girl in our communities.

Sandra Arhin,who was adjudged best student after the event was given  learning materials as well as school bag and sandals on February 19,2019.

Bewuanum Anglican Basic School is located at Awutu Bewuanum specifically at the  Obrachire Circuit in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
