Covid-19: Parents flock to Accra Girls’ SHS; demand withdrawal of wards

Parents of Students of Accra Girls’ Senior High School in the Greater Accra region are demanding to be allowed to take their children home immediately.

The students on Monday morning picketed on the school’s premises calling on school authorities to allow them to go home.

The demand by the students follows reports that six of their colleagues have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The anxious students angrily chanted  “We will go home” whilst school authorities looked on helplessly.
