The Minister of Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) has advised parents and teachers who organize secret extra classes for their wards to desist from the action to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ghana.
NAPO was responding to a question at a media briefing on the preparedness of the Education Sector on the COVID-19 Pandemic in Accra on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
According to the Minister, parents who pay teachers to teach their wards at home or in their schools secretly, are risking paying the teachers in an exchange for the Coronavirus since the virus isn’t written on any individual.
