A member of the aNew Patriotic Party (NPP), Krobea Kwabena Asante has defended Government’s inclusion of a Rotary Funded School Project as part of its achievements.
According to Krobea, though the Rotary funded a project in Tain District, it was through the lobbying skills of the DCE Lawyer Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh who is also a Rotarian that brought the project.
”Yes, Rotary funded a project in Tain District that is right but it was through the lobbying skills of the DCE Lawyer Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh who is also a Rotarian that brought the project.” He said.
He posted on his Facebook wall, saying that The assembly recognises that. It was not that Rotary as an entity without ‘any invitation to treat’ built it, the DCE via her association with the club got it done.

”There are a lot of projects in Ghana like that, even with the E blocks buildings some are from world Bank but governments claim them.” He indicated.

Rotary Accusations
A member of a fully funded and completed school project at Soronoase- Kwaedendem has questioned the decision by the government to add their fully funded project to their achievements.
Mr Kofi Owusu Debrah, who saw the project at the Education category of government’s newly launched infrastructure website took the issue to his Facebook page to demand answers.

According to him, he led the team to Commission the fully completed project in September 2019.
He added that it’s a single project and not two as indicated by the government on its website.
