UTAG resists migration onto Single Spine Salary Structure

The University Teachers Association of Ghana UTAG has asked government to stop all attempts to migrate public universities into the Single Spine Salary Platform.

This the Association said will have grave consequences on the idea of getting the universities to be independent.

Speaking at a news conference in Accra, the Chairman of UTAG, Harry Agbenu said the association will resist every attempt to migrate them onto the Single Spine Pay Policy.

He said members will advice themselves at the end of March if government goes ahead with the migration.
