The Sissala East District Assembly has handed over a fully furnished two unit classroom block with an office and a computer laboratory to the Tumu Midwifery Training School at Tumu.
The building which valued at one hundred and sixty nine thousand Ghana Cedis is expected to accommodate the increasing number of students who are faced with the problem of inadequate lecture theatres.
According to the District Chief Executives for Sisala East Johnson Sabor he said other projects such as staff accommodation and the provision of street lights are currently in construction.
The Principal of the college Madam Laadi Kanton said the facility will address about eighty percent of the challenges facing the students and staff of the school.
She also said the facilities will be put to good use and the handing over of the classroom will solve at least 80% of their facilities problems as a College.
