Overall, 125 schools from selected districts across all ten regions in the country have been earmarked for the scholarship programme. The scholarships are available to JHS students in their final year or graduates who wrote their Basic Education Certificate Examination in the last three years and selected schools “benefiting from the SEIP.”

The statement from the Education Ministry adds that “the prospective beneficiary of the scholarship scheme must be a Ghanaian, be qualified and needy.”
