The dome M/A cluster of schools at Accra -Dome during an anniversary to mark their 25th year of the establishment of the school, made a pronouncement to the Government concerning their new classroom block.
According to a news report filed by by Felicia Boakye of Expressed Radio, the headmaster Mr. Koku Ahiabour, had said the previous NDC government lead by ex-president John Mahama tried to expand the school by setting up a two classroom block for them, but unfortunately the mantle of leadership was taken away from them whiles the project was half done.
“Due to the change of government it slowed down the work because the contactors taught the new government will take the contract away from them and finally they placed their tools and machines for work down and departed.” he said.
He later stated thst Since ten months now when H.E the president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo took over, they haven’t seen any effort from the government either to give the contract to a different company or to the original holders of the job to complete it for them so that vacancies will be available for admitting new and upcoming students of the community.
He also added that the Member of Parliament Hon.Sarah Adwoa Safo, who was present at the gathering should help the school to put up an I.C.T lab to improve upon teaching and learning.
Finally he applauded the Government for the rapid growth of the economy against the neighboring countries and asked God almighty to protect the interest of the nation and the school.
