‘Disappointed’ Nursing Training Applicants to be given Second Chance

Nursing Applicants for the 2017/18 Academic year who could not get admission can now hope for a possible admission.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has issued out contact numbers to Applicants who couldn’t get their nursing admissions to get in touch with the Commission for further talks in relational to gaining admission into the Nursing and Midwifery Training Colleges.

The Ministry of Health prior to the release of the 2017 admissions brought out a list indicating a cut-off point for the Nursing and Midwifery Training Institutions.

A situation that has compelled all Nursing and Midwifery Training Institutions to reduce their intake drastically.

The issue of the allowance restoration has been linked as a major reason for the cut- off but the Health Ministry thought it was a good sign of maintaining quality in the Nursing Education.

Meanwhile, applicants whose namre do not appear on the admission list can contact this number for further assistance either via call or WhatsApp 0550332159
