The 2nd Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Samira Bawumia was invited as a Special Guest of Honour to the 22nd Annual Delegates Congress of the Eastern and Greater Accra Sector of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana.
The 2nd lady was invited to the opening ceremony which was scheduled for August 21,2017 at the main auditorium of the Accra College of Education in Accra.
The first lady couldn’t turn up for the opening ceremony as scheduled ,a situation that put the organizers in a total confusion.
EducationGhana’s deep throat investigations revealed that the first lady couldn’t turn up due to an alleged security reasons.
Though it was unclear what the security reasons were,it has been disclosed that prior to the day of the event, officers from the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI),frequently visited the campus to check details of the security system on the campus.
It was therefore very unfortunate why the second lady couldn’t turn up for the opening ceremony without given reasons to her actions.
